Web Capture is a remote deposit capture and deposit management solution that increases fee income, improves float management and reduces processing costs while enhancing your client relationships. This easy-to-use web-based solution allows your merchant and corporate clients to capture check images from the convenience of their own offices, using a low-cost scanner and an existing office PC. Captured images and transaction data are transmitted in real time to your institution via the Internet. 

Consistent Look & Feel

Web Capture is designed as a bank-branded product offered through your business account Web portal.  Remote deposits are captured by selecting the Web Capture application from your menu of services. 

Web Capture supports both standard deposit capture and the capture of remittance coupons. Support is included for BOC and ARC options for your clients that want ACH conversion, with support included for ACH real-time ACH eligibility checking. Web Capture also allows your client to capture additional payment information such as names and invoice or account numbers.

Enterprise Deposit Management

Web Capture provides a rich source of information about your clients’ deposit activity across the enterprise, making it a powerful deposit management tool. The centralized database of deposit data and images allows an approving manager to sort and filter information by site, user ID, deposit status, etc., to look for trends or problem areas (for example, a store that normally has brisk sales but is suddenly behind in deposit activity). This can provide early indicators that help your clients proactively manage their businesses and banking relationship.

Central Processing of Deposits
Web Capture interfaces with the Source Capture Base application or other back-end systems via X9.37 files. Source Capture Base provides support for completing the certification of the deposits received and creating deposit correction records.  Source Capture Base then creates the required output files posting, image archive load, image exchange, IRD creation, and ACH conversion. 

Web Capture is also ideally suited for deploying Branch Capture and Regional Hub Capture solutions at your bank.

ASP Option
Carreker has partnered with Creative Payment Solutions (CPS) to provide banks with an ASP model for remote deposit capture. This option allows banks to offer a remote check capture solution in which the central operations functions are outsourced to CPS.
