Carreker's Check Image Archive AIX provides banks and their customers with a seamless view into a distributed check image archive -- making on-line access for research or other applications quicker and easier than ever before. This enhances customer service while creating new revenue opportunities.

The Check Image Archive AIX runs on an IBM RS/6000 SP using AIX, handles multiple repository sites, and is designed for very large image volumes. It provides your bank with a variety of features and functions to enhance its flexibility and versatility. Key capabilities include:

  • Management of large volumes of check images for an extended period of time across a variety of storage media
  • Workflow management of the archive creation process
  • Support for multiple site processing, including capture and archive sites
  • Import of images captured on non-IBM capture devices
  • Organization/customization of items by work type for enhanced performance and varied processing needs
  • Scalability of solution to address a bank’s specific processing and performance needs, allowing for open-ended growth of the system to fit future requirements
  • Seamless access to the check image repositories in the enterprise, regardless of location, platform, or physical type (i.e., capture vs. archive)
  • Open architecture which enables vendor or customer generated applications easy access to the check images in the enterprise

Carreker’s Check Image Archive AIX solution is composed of strategic archive products which act as building blocks for an overall, end-to-end archive solution. These building blocks address a bank’s total check image archive requirements, from specific check image customization to hierarchical storage management and enterprise access. These components include:

CHECK IMAGE ARCHIVE AIX
Check Image Archive AIX prepares and loads the archive in a highly efficient and cost effective manner to support large volumes while preserving CPCS data integrity and workflow; it also seamlessly delivers to the requester data across the enterprise.

ONDEMAND FOR AIX
OnDemand provides the core archive functionality managing a close relationship between ADSM and DB2 to create a powerful, scalable, multiple processor environment.

DB2
Data Base 2 provides the heart of the index, making searches flexible and fast - leveraging what DB2 does best - high volume, wild-card searching in parallel.

ADSM
Advanced Document Storage Method manages the long-term storage for the solution and provides the management and support of several media, retention of data and migration from one media to another to provide cost-effective response to match recall patterns.

MQSERIES
MQSeries manages the movement of data while guaranteeing its delivery to over 19 client platforms, regardless of processor availability or disasters.
