Brian Evetts, EVP, Cash & Logistics, Carreker Corporation

Global Concepts Branch Strategy Forum
Atlanta, GA
The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta
June 14, 2007
10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Brian Evetts and Barbara Bennett will provide their perspectives on industry trends and opportunities for optimization in cash handling. Brian will talk about the impact of the typical bank’s siloed management of cash logistics, ideas for how banks can better manage shipments, pricing, and recycling, and how banks could add efficiency in currency distribution with guideline-driven ordering, better target cash minimums for tellers and ATMs, and creating incentives for holding less cash. Barbara will discuss recent regulatory changes, including the impact of Federal Reserve requirements on inventories and recirculation, the impact of rising interest rates, and Fed initiatives to help banks manage cash flows to the branches. The speakers will also provide an assessment of future trends in cash usage in the U.S. in general. For more information contact Erin Ghelber at 202.662.1338 or Erin_Ghelber@mckinsey.com.
