Dallas, Texas
Payment lines between corporations and their banks continue to blur (straight-through processing, elimination of payment silos, optimized payment operations). This session will review scenarios for the future of bank/corporate payment relationships. The session will also feature an update of primary research on Remote Deposit Capture. The update will include business cases for corporations, including additional benefit categories (data mining of payment information re funds collectibility, customer payment habits, fraud experience) and a reevaluation of obstacles and corporate lessons learned.
For corporations, RDC involves major change – taking inside a company’s own walls processes and responsibilities that banks have spent decades optimizing. The presentation will describe how corporations might attempt to justify the investment in RDC, starting with key business case questions.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand payment system trends and how corporations might be affected
- Develop the basic business case for remote deposit capture
- Begin to assess how additional categories of benefits can be extracted from remote deposit capture
- Implement the remote capture implementation lessons learned by other companies
