Leading ATM Processor in Portugal Benefits from Improved Network Operational Efficiencies and Reduced Costs

DALLAS, TEXAS (April 14, 2005) — Carreker Corporation (Nasdaq: CANI), a leading provider of technology and consulting solutions for the financial industry, announced today that Sociedade Interbancária de Serviços, S.A. (SiBS), an Interbank Society focused on providing Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Point Of Sale (POS) networking for payment services to the Portuguese banking industry, has licensed its eiManager software to manage their network of more than 10,000 ATMs.

eiManager is an enterprise ATM network management solution that allows financial institutions to improve ATM network efficiency and reduce costs by streamlining processes and enhancing the management of ATMs and service providers. Utilizing Carreker’s eiManager, banks and service outsourcers have achieved 99 percent or greater prime-time availability.

eiManager receives real-time alerts for ATM faults and cash activity and automatically schedules business actions when a problem occurs. ATM statuses are tracked in real-time, providing users with the ability to measure and report the impact of the faults. Advanced cash correlation logic allows for complex, automatic cash replenishment scenarios.
