CARREKER RELEASES EnAct 4

Union Planters, Allfirst, Broadway Bank, CalFed, FNB Pennsylvania and FNB Kansas license the new CVM software, Broadway completes successful installation

DALLAS (July 02, 2002) — Carreker Corporation (Nasdaq: CANI), a leading supplier of technology and consulting solutions for financial institutions, has released the latest version of its Customer Value Management (CVM) solution, EnAct 4. EnAct is a complete solution using learning methodology, a set of best practices, and web-enabled software for enabling the workforce to increase the profitability of customer income streams. EnAct 4 increases management tracking and reporting, providing top management with instant and increased information on customer relationship retention, expansion, and attraction marketing programs.

“EnAct 4 takes a product with great ability to guide the activities of sales and service employees and expands the management and reporting capabilities for a better understanding of successful marketing campaigns and top-producing employees,” said Keith Von Seggern, Managing Principal of CVM solutions for Carreker Corporation. “With the information EnAct 4 provides to executives and management, they will have instant access to their organization’s marketing performance and can adjust programs at all levels to make them more successful.”

Six banks have already licensed the new software. They are Union Planters Bank of Memphis, Tenn., Allfirst Bank of Baltimore, Md., Broadway Bank of San Antonio, Texas, California Federal Bank of San Francisco, Calif., First National Bank of Pennsylvania of Hermitage, Penn., and First National Bank of Kansas of Overland Park, Kan.

New features of EnAct 4 include:

Response tracking – enables regional managers and executives to view responses and notes from front-line customer interactions, and plan follow-up steps.

Shared access to Best Practice marketing programs– ensures consistent execution of marketing programs and similar customer experiences across offices and markets.

Weekly goal setting and results tracking online – helps regional managers set goals, coach, and measure results.

In May 2002, EnAct 4 was installed and implemented successfully at Broadway National Bank, San Antonio, which had used earlier versions of EnAct to increase average household profitability by 21.2 percent in the first year and 25 percent in the second year.

Jim Payne, Broadway Bank’s senior vice president of Retail Banking, said, “We have found the new value-based metrics in EnAct 4 allow us to keep client profitability in the forefront of our minds. The ‘Treatment summaries’ are of great value as we can easily view progress on current initiatives. And, we like that client information can be viewed enterprise-wide, enabling us to monitor the level of service given our clients, even if they are serviced by multiple markets.”

J. D. “Denny” Carreker, Chairman and CEO of Carreker Corporation said, “With EnAct 4, we are confirming our reputation for bringing our clients high-quality technology solutions that can enhance shareholder and customer value. This particular advance in the CVM arena is being well received by our clients and is a prime example of how we can increase their revenue generating capabilities.”
