Announces Two Contracts For Enterprise
IT Services
Two Super-Regional Clients Help
Push Business Past Anticipated
Growth Rate
(Dallas, January 26, 2000) - Carreker-Antinori,
Inc. (NASDAQ: CANI), today announced
two contracts, each for approximately
$4 million, for the company’s
Enterprise IT Services (EITS), which
help financial institutions maximize
the operational advantages of consolidation.
The clients have previously used
EITS to generate substantial benefits
and will now take advantage of Carreker-Antinori’s
expansion of EITS to derive further
efficiencies, functionality and revenue
potential.
Dick Jerrier, executive vice president
and managing director for Carreker-Antinori,
said, "We know how essential it is
for a client to demonstrate superior
consolidation skills – it drives
their ability to attract and retain
customers and maintain a positive
perception on Wall Street. That is
why we are making EITS the absolute
industry standard for excellence
in operations consolidation. When
two top clients, both standard-setters
for successful acquisitions, make
such significant commitments with
us, we take that as a measure of
our success."
The most recent expansion of EITS
includes Web-based solutions for
integrating Internet applications
such as home banking and CRM (customer
relationship management). In addition,
to help clients take advantage of
the recent banking legislation, EITS
has added capabilities in integrating
financial institutions’ mortgage
and brokerage services as well as
other capital market operations.
The traditional EITS scope includes
enterprise project management, single
bank charter, application conversions,
IT outsourcing, image archive services
and management consulting.
J. D. "Denny" Carreker, chairman
and chief executive officer of Carreker-Antinori,
pointed to the strategic implications
of these new contracts for the firm. "As
we help our clients develop their
migration path for fully leveraging
the Internet, our EITS help to establish
highly effective and efficient IT
operations." Accordingly, Mr. Carreker
noted, EITS’ contribution to
the firm during fiscal 2000 is expected
to increase by 35 to 50 percent over
fiscal year 1999, well above earlier
estimates.
Carreker-Antinori’s EITS clients
include seven of the top 50 U.S.
banks as well as a number of tier
two and tier three financial institutions
active in acquisitions and implementation
of new initiatives.
