Carreker-Antinori, Inc. Issues Clarification Regarding Authorized Statements

(Dallas, TX October 26, 1998) — It has come to the attention of management of Carreker-Antinori, Inc. (Nasdaq: CANI) that certain unauthorized statements about the Company were recently made by an employee of the Company. Management of Carreker-Antinori wishes to emphasize that these statements were not authorized by the Company, and such employee does not have access to the Company’s comprehensive financial information. Only John D. Carreker, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Terry L. Gage, Chief Financial Officer, are authorized to make statements on behalf of the Company relating to its financial condition and results of operations. As such, Carreker-Antinori disclaims any remarks or statements about the Company not made by authorized members of management, and Carreker-Antinori bears no responsibility for such unauthorized statements.
