(Pittsburgh, PA October 22, 1998) — The Fiserv Pittsburgh unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq:FISV) and Carreker-Antinori, Inc. (Nasdaq: CANI) announced today they have reached a cooperative marketing agreement that provides increased market reach for both businesses and improved product availability for their clients. Fiserv Pittsburgh initiated the agreement as part of its overall strategy to provide a research and adjustment system that is ready for Year 2000 testing.

"We chose Carreker-Antinori to provide a solution that could be implemented and tested in a timely and cost-effective manner," said Fiserv Senior Vice President Regis Rapp. "The decision, which was made on behalf of our clients, was made easy when considering the ease of integration benefit added by Carreker-Antinori. Their broad suite of integrated solutions, coupled with a successful track record serving two-thirds of the top 100 banks, made them the most obvious choice."

In addition to offering the Carreker-Antinori Research and Adjustment Systemä to Fiserv clients, the agreement enables Carreker-Antinori to market the Fiserv Customer Service and Call-center Solution (CSCS®).

Tom Vleisides, Senior Vice President responsible for alternate marketing and delivery channels for Carreker-Antinori, said both Fiserv and Carreker-Antinori clients will benefit from this reciprocal arrangement because it will provide them with integrated technologies. "We look forward to working with Fiserv toward expanding this agreement to other solutions that may include return items, fraud detection, electronic check presentment and other various ‘Day 2’ solutions within our suites of products," Vleisides said.

"The Fiserv and Carreker-Antinori management teams recognized that our common solutions approach to managing and integrating technologies, while maintaining focus on our clients’ respective business strategies, would create additional client value," Rapp said.
