Remittance solution to community banking
companies.
Bisys Group
Inc. announced an agreement
Monday to resell Carreker
Corp.'s NeXGen Remittance software to community
banking companies.
The image-based payment processing
platform is designed for small and
midsize financial institutions and
can handle up to a million items
per day.
It works with retail, wholesale,
and exception payments.
"Our clients have expressed
a high interest in elevating their
payment-based product capabilities,
particularly as Check 21 further
democratizes the payments landscape," Bill
Neville, the president of Bisys Information
Services in New York, said in a press
release.
J.D. Carreker, the Dallas software
company's chairman and chief executive,
said the agreement could "significantly
expand our sales potential in a target
market at a time when this market
is actively seeking the best payments
solutions available."
