Carreker Aligning With ARGO To Deliver Image Branch Capture

Looking to help large banks take advantage of Check 21, Carreker Corporation is teaming with branch automation software provider ARGO Data Resource Corp. (ARGO) to deliver an end-to-end solution for the branch capture of check images. ARGO has relationships with over half of the top U.S. financial institutions.

Under the agreement, Carreker will integrate its Source Capture suite, which is still in development, with ARGO's Teller Image Capture Solution. Source Capture will take check images and data captured in the branch, inspect for quality, and send them to bank's back office to support posting, bank-to-bank image exchange, and check archiving for customer support purposes. Carreker plans to deliver the branch component of Source Capture in 2004.
