Lean Industries, Inc and Carreker have formed an alliance to market Lean’s Adjustment/Hub solution for electronic payment disputes, continuing Carreker’s commitment to helping financial institutions manage customer disputes across various payment types, while reducing expenses and increasing efficiency.

Toronto-based Lean Industries is a leading provider of EFT dispute resolution software.  The company’s Adjustment Hub Suite includes three applications: Adjustment Hub/CLAIMS Manager, Adjustment Hub/IMAGE Manager, and Adjustment Hub/XNET Manager.

CLAIMS/Manager streamlines exception handling workflow for all transaction types, automating manual processes such as network responses, chargebacks-on-us, case item aging, and calendar tracking.  CLAIMS/Manager interfaces directly with IMAGE/Manager for claims documentation, fulfillments and re-presentment documents. Integration with XNET/Manager automates the matching function of network responses and creation of incoming adjustments and chargebacks.

The IMAGE/Manager document handling system eliminates the paper chase generated by the massive flow of incoming and outgoing documentation from customers and networks.  XNET/Manager accepts chargebacks, draft requests, re-presentments and adjustments from Adjustment Hub, or another case system, translates these transactions to network-specific formats, and submits them directly to the respective networks for processing.
