Carreker Corporation and Giesecke & Devrient GmbH (G&D) have formed an alliance that strengthens their abilities to help financial institutions manage their cash supply chains more efficiently and cost effectively. Both companies will market G&D's Compass^cm, Carreker's iCom™ and eiManager™, rounding out a premier suite of solutions and services for vault, branch, and ATM network optimization. In addition, Carreker now offers G&D's currency-processing hardware, which provides automation and efficiencies in centralized cash operations and will collaborate with G&D on research and development, as well as potential opportunities in shared services in the cash supply chain.
